The charity now finds itself at a pivotal moment in its history: the gradual transfer of leadership to our Tanzanian team enabling important decisions to be made locally and promptly by the people who are members of the communities they serve.
‘This won’t happen over night and we have substantial capacity building to complete’, said Suzanne Adams, CEO EdUKaid. ‘We need to raise £10,000 to support this transition. During Big Give Small Charity Week, any donations will go twice as far.
To make it easy and safe for you to donate, EdUKaid has set up a page on donations site ‘Big Give.’
The donations page will go live at Noon on 22nd June. For now, EdUKaid asks that you share the link, mark your calendar and look out for their social media and emails. ‘The more people who know sbout this, the better chance we have of meeting our target and unlocking the full match funding’, Suzanne said, ‘so please do what you can to help us get the nessage out there.’
