David Bamford has been appointed as Membership Service Manager by the AVA. As part of his new role, David will be focused on providing members with further support and guidance on issues that affect the industry; on facilitating the range of AVA Training and, of course, on carrying out AVA Quality Accreditation audits. He’ll work with his AVA team colleagues to grow the AVA membership, as well as improving retention and engagement of our current members.
David has more than 35 years’ experience in vending – after beginning his career as a chef. He joins the AVA from Crane Merchandising Systems . ‘I am excited and proud to be taking up this role with the AVA, supporting its mission to promote and advance the vending industry’, he said. ‘I’m looking forward to working with the AVA team and its members to deliver exceptional service and value for the wider industry.’
‘It’s fantastic to have David with us, bringing a wealth of talent and experience to the team’, said David Llewellyn, the AVA CEO. ‘The AVA is focused on supporting its members as they deal with the challenges facing the sector and in the past year, we’ve shifted our activity to ensure we are aligned with the changing demands on our members. Government legislation, cup levies and an economic crisis have led many of our members to ask for guidance and David’s dedication to customer service will be an asset both to the AVA and the industry.’
