The dust has started to settle on yet another successful Vendex Midlands 2024. They are all great shows but this one felt different, more positive, busier, and a great vibe. However, there were some jitters felt throughout the show too. Recent mergers and take-overs, news of changes at the top, and other organisation shifts led to some expressing a mix of concern and excitement. I think that the next year will see many of these changes play out across the industry so Vendex North will be interesting.
For me it was fantastic to see so many of our long time clients and partners, plus it was a great opportunity to meet face to face with new clients. Planet Vending had nothing but great feedback and we are always just so delighted that we can be part of everyone’s communication strategies. Andy Pheasant – Hell Beverages
Vendex Midlands 2024 was a great event for HELL Beverages. We managed to get cans into the hands of a large number of operators, and were able to connect with many we had not previously met. We have a whole load of contacts to follow up on, and this will no doubt lead to us expanding our distribution and business within the vending sector.
Attending the exhibition was a success. It kept us connected with industry leaders and allowed us to meet both existing and new customers. Compared to Vendex shows last year, this event was a step up. There was great attendance and strong interest in Vendon. It was a valuable opportunity, and we look forward to capitalizing on the connections made.
A successful Vendex! There was certainly a steady flow of people throughout the day. We were very pleased with the interest that we received in our range of cash handling products and look forward to maintaining contact with our visitors over the coming weeks. As a result, we have once again pre-booked our stand for 2025!
Vendex Midlands 2024 felt busier than previous shows. So SB Software were pleased that we had increased our level of staffing to the highest ever, with 7 of us on duty in total – because we all had plenty to do. And it was especially useful that three of our crew were Technical Account Managers (TAMs: we have a team spanning the country so each can be close to their “own” clients) because the enquiries were more insightful (and challenging) than at previous shows – key players are now embracing the commercial opportunities that data and technology can bring to our sector.
Fin Coffey – Kingsley Beverages
Vendex Midlands 2024 has been a great event for the Dragon Energy launch into the Vending market. We plan to disrupt the Energy category and the feedback we are having is we are having success with so far!!
We had a great response from Operators, End Users and Wholesalers. We had so much interest in the brand and there was a real desire to try the product and understand the benefits.
We have numerous customers asking for information on who they can buy from as well as details about the brand.
We also met a number of customers who are already stocking the Dragon range and who feedback they love the Taste, The Branding and the Margins they can make!!!
It’s definitely the Year Of The Dragon!!
Vendex is a fantastic event that strives to push the vending industry forwards and showcase key innovations in automated retail. We were able to observe key areas of interest from attendees to further develop and improve the industry as a whole. It celebrates the innovation, creativity and hard work of the industry and we were proud to be a part of it!
The show was great, but I am much more excited about Vendex North in 2024. Nonetheless, great to see some old and new faces!
