The Ten Acre Village Games – Go On Have A Go!

By: Yvonne Reynolds-Young

Ten Acre steps up to the mark.

We’re conscious this week that everyone is going back to work after the summer, so there’s a bit of a gloom about. Holidays are over for most of us, and the kids go back to school soon (in Scotland they’ve been back for ages of course), our pockets are empty thanks to purchasing ridiculously expensive items of uniform (back packs at nearly £70 – really?) and, for us at Planet Vending Towers anyway, everyone is wanting stuff done and wanting it done now!

So, there was I doing some social media stuff and trawling through the back to work tweets, with marketing bods trying desperately to motivate the nation with inspirational quotes and ‘funny’ pictures, when I came across a Ten Acre tweet. I actually come across loads of Ten Acre tweets, they are prolific and the pictures of yummy popcorn and crisps too tempting. This one stood out in particular and judging by the shares, a big lesson can be learnt. Make your social media interactive, and fun – at least sometimes.

The Tweet

In it Ten Acre, from Yumsh Snacks, was inviting me to play in their new Village games. Always one for a competition,  I clicked the link and spent an enjoyable good few minutes beating hell out of my track pad, nearly sending it across the desk onto the floor on a few occasions (note to self – no need to be quite so competitive).

It was a lot of fun, if way too short, so I thought that I’d bring it to you. Apologies in advance for broken ‘mice’ and bruised fingers.

Maybe we should have a league of our own? The Vending Games, sponsored by Ten Acre?

Well, anyway, have a go and let me know how you do. Perhaps the kind people there at the Village can donate a few bags of their excellent popcorn to the best performers – but I won’t hold my breath. Click the picture and it’ll take you to the game. Good luck!
