Payter, a global pioneer in payment technology, has appointed two new senior executives, Ryan Philo as Chief Product Officer and Jack Driessen as Chief Financial Officer.

The Netherlands-based company, which specialises in unattended contactless payment terminals, is actively expanding its teams across the UK, Europe and the USA, in response to significant growth in both sales and reputation. (The main picture features Patter’s senior management team).

Ryan Philo brings with him over 25 years of experience in the UK and European payments industry. As CTO, and ultimately CPO, at Optomany Limited, Ryan oversaw the development of the innovative Omni-Channel Managed Payment Processing products and services.

‘I’m delighted to have joined the amazing team at Payter as Chief Product Officer’, Ryan said. ‘It’s a privilege to have this opportunity to build the Product team, which will take our impressive suite of products and services and propel them to new heights for the benefit of our customers. It’s exciting to be part of the Payter journey during a key phase of the organisation’s growth. Already leaders in the unattended space, we have a very bright future ahead and I’m looking forward to playing my part in the journey.’

Jack Driessen joins the senior leadership team after 12 years at the coalface in Finance. Jack steps into his role at Payter from De Heus, the largest animal nutrition company in Europe, where he assumed the roles of CFO of the Egyptian joint venture and Area Manager of East Africa, with the Koudijs brand. He started his career at Rabobank where he had several investment banking roles.

Payter‘I’m thrilled to be part of Payter, because it is a company that you see everywhere, when you take notice!’, Jack told PV. ‘When you realise how many transactions are done on a daily basis through our terminals it’s mind-blowing. The company is driven by making things work well. This is evident not only by the way consumers can pay with just one short tap through our systems, but also by giving our vendors the tools to monitor their terminals remotely. Payter is constantly making small improvements that make a big difference for the end-users. This kind of drive resonates with me, and I’m looking forward to making my contribution to this team effort.”

Remco Willemse, CEO of Payter, adds his thoughts on the new arrivals: ‘Allowing Ryan to share his wealth of experience with the Payter Product team will undoubtedly take our products and services to new levels of quality. We’re also confident that Jack’s expertise, applied at the helm of our Finance department, will help steer the business toward a successful future.’
