Since the company invested £45m in a purpose-built manufacturing and distribution facility in Peterborough, Dragon Energy has been on a mission to disrupt the vending marketplace by producing great-tasting, top-quality products – in 500ml and 250ml cans – which deliver real value to consumers, and outstanding margins to operators.

As reported in Planet Vending, Dragon’s PR machine has been in overdrive throughout 2024. The brand has hand-picked a wide variety of events up and down the country as ideal opportunities to meet consumers, in order to build on the Dragon ‘buzz’. Coupled with Dragon’s all-over-it social media exposure, it’s no wonder that the sales graph has continued in its steep, upward trajectory…

‘We’ve definitely been out and about sharing the good news about Dragon Energy Drinks’, UK Head of Sales, Michael Sutton told PV. ‘We’re doing everything we can to introduce our products to our target market and this will continue into 2025. ‘We’ve really been encouraged and motivated by the interest the industry has shown in Dragon Energy drinks’, Michael added. ‘Right now, we have in excess of one-hundred operators who regularly stock Dragon in their machines. The support we’ve had from independent operators has been amazing and on top of that, we’ve run a series of successful trials with NIVO and with other notable vending buying groups. Maybe best of all, we were nominated in two categories at The Vendies, which was an amazing result for us after just six months around the industry.’

  • Dragon’s interactions on social media are growing at the rate of 120%, month on month.

  • Dragon Energy will be at more than 60 UK events this year, accelerating brand awareness and building demand.
  • Dragon is the fasted growing Energy brand in Vending this year.
