The Automatic Vending Association (AVA) is delighted to announce that Pladis, supplier of biscuit brand McVities, will be exhibiting at AVEX 2017 on 12th – 13th September.
Launching in 2016, Pladis incorporates what was United Biscuits, suppliers of the UK’s number one crackers and Cheddars brand, McVities. McVities Nibbles was the first product launched by Pladis in March 2016 and was the first of its kind in the biscuit category, combining the best of biscuits and confectionery. To build on the success of McVities Nibbles, in June 2017 Pladis launched a 37g Handypack that was perfect for the vending channel, especially as biscuits are the second highest affinity (after cake) to purchase with a hot beverage!
Rick Dinsmore is the National Account Manager for Vending in the UK at Pladis and commented: “Vending is a real focus area for Pladis and we are really looking forward to developing our network of customers and driving brand awareness across our key vending products – Mini Cheddars, McVities Nibbles, Jaffa Snack pack & our McVities ‘On the go’ Cake range – at AVEX 2017.”
