People often say, ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’, so you may well wonder why N&W is making changes to Koro and Korinto. Well, there’s anther old adage that says ‘in business you have to keep moving just to stand still’…

Having said that, the good folk at Bilston are eager to point out that they haven’t changed anything that affects the drinks quality!
‘These two tidy ‘K’ Range machines have always delivered class-leading espresso based drinks. The good news is that we’ve left this technology well alone’, Louise Wardle told PV. ‘The outside is another story though. We decided that a facelift was in order, so we’ve created a brand-new look for the new Koro Max and Korinto Prime. It revolves around the addition of smart blue LED surround lighting and a fabulous new gloss finish.

‘And that’s not all: there’s a super-smart new touch-sensitive selection panel that makes both Koro Max and Korinto Prime even more appealing to today’s tablet generation – and that little bit more intuitive to operate, too’, Louise said.
Makeover
So: ‘the outside’s had a makeover but on the inside, the coffee is as good as it ever was!’ That seems to be the message.
N&W has also announced that extensions to the milk canisters on Opera and Canto will be fitted as ‘standard’ from here on in. The extensions allow for 30% more milk to be loaded. ‘Today’s customers are choosing drinks, such as lattés and cappuccinos, which are two-thirds milk’, Louise said. ‘On top of that, today’s freeze-dried, granulated milk is much bulkier than the cream-coloured powders of way back when. What’s more, statistics show us that, on average, a free-standing vending machine dispenses around 250-270 drinks a week; all of which means it’s inconceivable that the cups will run out before the milk does.
Running out of milk?
‘If you’ve got a machine that’s constantly running out of milk, then please get in touch with the people in our Spares Department: the extensions can be retro-fitted’, Louise said.
