Its here… Planet Vending – the Sequel!
Two weeks ago, we told you we were evolving. Here is Planet Vending Mark 2. Its been a while in the making, but we like it!
What’s new? First of all, we’ve tidied up the navigation. Categories are clearer and, we hope, more logical. You’ll find most of what you want to read under the news tab.

Version one grew out of need and we’ve chosen ‘evolved’ to describe the process advisedly. At the beginning we just dived in, confident that when we emerged we’d come out with a clear picture of what we would look like. Mark 2 is getting close, but we’re open to suggestions.
Second, its super quick! We’ve switched to a faster server and its no longer groaning under the weight of the 1000 encaptured stories.
Pictures are clearer, stories are more interactive – we even tell you how long it’ll take to read them and of course you can comment on them more easily and share with your colleagues or friends.
Advertising
For those interested in having their brands sitting in front of vending’s most influential people there are a few more advertising opportunities. We have never set out to flood the site with adverts but its a necessity so that we can afford to continue bringing you what you clearly love to read. We have tried to keep the adverts as relevant as possible and that will add to the look and feel of Planet Vending. We’re lucky that our supporters ‘get’ what we’re all about and the quality of the ads are, we think, excellent.
Note, the ad slots are also slightly larger and so the ones live on the site today are all the old sizes. This will fix itself over time. If you’d like to join the superb brands who currently support us, just click the advertise with us tab on the black bar at the top of the page.
Distribution
Every single story that we publish is tweeted and distributed through FaceBook with key stories also shared on Linked In. There is no earthly point in writing and publishing if the articles aren’t been read. Its our job to get it out there.
Have a butcher’s at the site, for a while you may see some old stories emerging that you haven’t read before as they were too well hidden!
