Jofemar Corporación concluded 2023 with record-breaking turnover and net operating income – for the second year running. Headquartered in Peralta, Navarra and specialising in the design and manufacturing of vending machines and payment systems, electric mobility, and energy storage, Jofemar achieved its highest-ever turnover of 64.5 million euros – an increase of 5% compared to 2022. This growth was mirrored in the profitability of the business, with an operating result exceeding 10 million euros, 10% up on the previous year.
The results were announced during at a board meeting at which Mikel Irujo, Minister of Industry and Ecological Transition and Digital Business of Navarra and Iñaki Larraya of Sodena, were guests.
Among the factors contributing to the growth figures, the strong performance in domestic markets stands out, alongside significant growth in Western Europe and strategic countries such as the USA, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe. Furthermore, the exceptional performance of the group’s battery and renewable energy division, Jofemar Smart Energy, which tripled its turnover in 2023, deserves recognition.
Another of the levers of growth has been the commitment to innovation. Last year was marked by numerous launches, including a new range of coffee machines and the Vision V8, a vending solution for all types of products that ensures maximum adaptability to the product and use of the available space. The solutionincorporates a large product delivery elevator and a spiral-free extraction system, which has been patented by Jofemar.
Last year, important improvement processes were also addressed with the implementation of corporate compliance systems, the evaluation of the social and environmental impact of the activity, as well as the design of strategies for its improvement and the strengthening of the internal control of processes. ‘The strategic plan has proved to be successful and has resulted in major improvements in all areas of the company, but especially in internal communication and internal process control,’ said Jofemar President, Félix Guindulain Busto. ‘Equally important is the promotion professional development to all the people in the organisation.’
