‘Scotland’s Excel Vending has won a top UK title in The Vendies. The family owned business was named Best Operating Company (£2m – £5m turnover) last week at AVEX 2015 at the Vendies dinner in Manchester.
Organised by the Automatic Vending Association and Vending International, the awards are the finale of AVEX International – the biggest annual vending exhibition which brings together the best of the industry, large and small.
At every stage of the awards process their success was in the hands of the vending industry, so the peer recognition involved in winning these awards makes them very special indeed. An unprecedented number of votes were cast this year, and it was these votes, and the opinion of the highly respected industry colleagues on the judging panel that enabled Excel Vending to win.
It is not their first success at The Vendies; they were recognised in 2013 when they were delighted to be named in the top three vending operators in the UK. In addition, their very own Tricia Connolly was a finalist for Vending Supervisor of the Year on the same night, an individual award which she went on to win in 2014.

Excel Vending celebrated their 21st Anniversary last year, this award certainly signals their ‘coming of age’ as they top the list of vending solutions providers in the UK.’
