Beyond the Box, organised by Coffetek in partnership with Brita Professional and Aimia Foods, attracted important personalities and industry leaders to Leeds on 9 November 2022.
Together, they unveiled Coffetek’s patented MIA technology, which enables the production of exquisite drinks, with a consistent and velvety foam, made either with fresh milk, or dehydrated milk.
At the heart of Easymilk technology is meticulous temperature control, which allows the taste, colour, and texture of the milk to remain like those of fresh milk. A meticulous process of micro-injecting air allows both fresh milk and Easymilk to be evenly emulsified, cup after cup.
Easymilk also brings major benefits to operators and roasters with a direct impact on their bottom line: it reduces the logistical processes and requires less intensive cleaning, at the same time as offering a wider and more varied range of top-quality beverages.
During Beyond the Box Amilka Lee, a recognised SCA trainer and Professional Barista, presented the dual version of Coffetek’ s successful coffee brewer. This brewer makes it possible to prepare both espresso and filtered coffee – which is steadily growing in popularity among UK young generations.
The patented AZKV30 brewer, with a variable chamber, allows the preparation of both recipes using the same technology, obtaining exquisite brewing results in every cup.
Vitro X1 was presented at the same time with two coffee grinders as well as dual coffee extraction technology & Fresh Milk, which opens a wide combination of recipes in a single machine where previously, two were required.

In ‘a day of discovery’, Coffetek also introduced the new Neo Q, a dual machine that offers filtered fresh water and freshly ground coffee.
‘NEO Q is a 2 in 1 solution, the perfect solution for all those who need to offer quality water and hot beverages to their customers or employees, while making a commitment to sustainability in workplaces, leisure areas, gyms and other establishment’, Coffetek Sales Director Ian Johnston said. ‘Neo Q is an innovative concept that responds to emerging social trends and user needs. It promotes consumer awareness of the need to reduce plastics consumption. The thing that makes it stand out is that, thanks to its filtering system, it offers a higher quality than tap water, at the same time as promoting the use of reusable bottles and encouraging customers to use their own cups.
‘It is also notable for its elegant appearance’, Ian added. ‘The display has been designed down to the last detail to create an aesthetically appealing machine that complies with the established accessibility standards – details which were not missed by the latest European Product Design Award panel, which acknowledge Neo Q as the Best design for Catering products and Office equipment”.
Juanje Alberdi, CEO of The Azkoyen Group’s Coffee & Vending Systems and Payment Technologies divisions was also present at the event. ‘We were very pleased to present our new patented MIA technology at Beyond the Box’, he said. ‘Our continuous efforts to innovate are reflected in technologies such as this and in products as revolutionary as the ones we presented at the event. Our ambition to turn the simplicity of coffee into a unique experience means that every day, we strive to provide our customers and end consumers with the best products and cutting-edge technologies on the market.’
