Every year the AVA Christmas lunch launches the festive season and this year it appears that it was to its usual standard as we’ve been told by the PR people behind it! This year Macmillan Cancer Support is beneficiary of the proceeds of the raffle.
The Automatic Vending Association (AVA) celebrated Christmas in style this year with its annual AVA Christmas lunch event held at the stunning One Whitehall Place in London on 8th December.
The event, which sold out in two weeks, featured guests from across the vending industry and was the AVA’s biggest Christmas lunch in recent years.
Attendees were treated to a drinks reception with music from harpist, Harriet Adie, and a selection of festive tunes from singing group, Christmas Tree-O.
Following a three-course dinner, a raffle was held which raised more than £2,600 in aid of Macmillan and prizes included a car dashcam, a Fortnum and Mason Hamper and a golf day.
The party continued late into the evening with further festivities on the balcony of Ruby Blue on Leicester Square, which boasted great views of the square and London.
Jonathan Hart, Chief Executive of the AVA, said: “Our annual AVA Christmas lunch event is always a highlight of the vending calendar and a great time to bring the industry together to celebrate Christmas and the end of another year in the vending industry.
“This year was another highly successful event and we would like to thank everyone for coming. We would also like to thank our sponsors for their support.”
