ARN’s Ones to Watch 13
Hello again
As many of you know, I’m not a particularly poetic soul. But some things get me going lyrically and today’s one of those days. So, here goes: Ahem…
After all this time
We have access to PRIME!
I’m not holding my breath waiting for the call to replace Simon Armitage, (he’s the Poet Laureate), but you can’t say my little couplet doesn’t come straight from the heart! If you’ve been in a coma for the past couple of years – or if you don’t ever get to spend time with school-age kids – you might not have a clue what’s got my creative juices flowing. So allow me to enlighten you.
PRIME was developed, and I quote, ‘to fill the void where great taste meets function. With bold, thirst-quenching flavors to help you refresh, replenish, and refuel, PRIME is the perfect boost for any endeavor.’PRIME was created by KSI and Logan Paul. Who? KSI is a Brit who is a YouTuber, a rapper and a boxer, whilst Logan Paul is a popular YouTuber, actor, and entrepreneur. (He has a net worth of $45 million, so they say. I’m in the wrong job). Big news? Well, Asda were limiting sales to prevent people from re-selling the stuff at a daft mark up. Not to mention the offie in Wakefield that (allegedly) was asking – and getting – £100 a pop, which has become a retail legend.
Things have calmed down a little bit since those unprecedented events but, believe me, PRIME is still a hot property. Or to be more accurate, A HOT PROPERTY.
We’re taking orders for the 500ml bottled version right now, which we’ll be delivering from October 1st, with a selling price of £14.99 for a pack of 12. A friendly heads up: don’t delay.

My second bit of news would be this month’s headline and without PRIME would be in, er, prime position. Founded in 1997 in South Wales, REAL has created its own niche in the crisps market by making, it says on their website, ‘delicious hand-cooked crisps with distinctive, bold flavours’. Vending has enjoyed notable success with this up-market snack brand, especially with its Roast Ox & Ham, and English Mustard flavours, but we reckon the new flavour, Chicken Peri-Peri, is going to Number One with a bullet. Like the rest of the REAL range, the new flavour is 100% gluten free, there’s no added MSG (that’s monosodium glutamate to you and me) and it’s 100% vegetarian. It packs a real flavour punch and we’re so confident that it’s going to be everybody’s new favourite that we’re getting right behind it. So, think on: when you’re ordering your PRIME supplies, get REAL on your crisps order.
While I’ve got your undivided attention, I want to say a big ‘thank-you’ to all those who attended and / or supported our Gala Dinner. The do raised an astonishing amount of cash – £55k (!) – which we’ll distribute to our chosen charities, the British Heart Foundation and Grocery Aid.
Finally, hats off to our team at ARN who handled all the event organisation with the aplomb I’ve come to expect of them. Well done guys.
That’s it for ARN’s Ones to Watch 13
Until next time, it’s back to work and as always, gan canny.
