International water cooler business, Angel Waterlogic – formerly known as Angel Springs – is celebrating the re-opening of its newly revamped offices in Wolverhampton. The Company has been based in the city since 2003 and moved from Ettingshall to its headquarters in Shaw Road in 2012.
Landlord Oakendale Investments has carried out a £500,000 renovation of the offices, where the workforce has now doubled from 60 to 125.
Largest Water Cooler Business in Europe
Angel Waterlogic has also recently acquired a major competitor doubling its business operations in the UK employing 450 people across 16 sites in the UK, servicing more than 160,000 water coolers. Turnover is now in the region of £50million growing the company to become the largest water cooler business in Europe.
Joining Managing Director John Dundon and Deputy Managing Director Greg Pritchett in the celebrations were the Mayor of Wolverhampton, Councillor Barry Findlay and Wolverhampton North East MP Emma Reynolds. (Picture above)
They were also joined by Wolverhampton South East MP Rt Honourable Pat McFadden, who worked closely with the firm on a work placement scheme for young local people at Ettingshall. The results of which transformed the firm’s recruitment policy.
The Mayor and both MPs hailed the company for its commitment to remaining based in Wolverhampton. Councillor Findlay said: ‘It is great for the city of Wolverhampton that we have companies such as yours that are committed to the City.’

Emma Reynolds said that Angel’s growth since it started in Wolverhampton with just 13 staff in 2003 was ‘incredibly impressive’, while Pat McFadden said ‘The company’s enthusiastic adoption of my work placement proposals have provided opportunities and jobs for local young people.”

Greg Pritchett said: ‘We’re delighted with the grand reopening event and our impressive new facility which is testament to the hard work and dedication of our employees. Our decision to stay within the City was an easy one as Wolverhampton is a staple in our successful history.’ He said ‘Being able to create employment opportunities and support growth within the local economy is an outstanding achievement which truly reflects our own growth as a business and reaffirms our position as the largest water cooler company within Europe.’
