VMC is celebrating a significant milestone for any company – their 30th year in business. During those 3 decades they have been a constant and trusted supplier to the vending industry, providing market-leading solutions and expert advice on all things payment related.
The business began back in 1991 as Vending Micro Circuits, with the sole purpose of creating a futuristic and flexible cashless payment system. Over the years they have achieved this and more, and now supply their payment systems to many other markets as well as vending.
Much has changed with cashless technology in 30 years, but many of the VMC team members, and loyal customers, remain the same. All of their development still remains in-house at their purpose-built office and factory in Southam, Warwickshire.
‘We’re thrilled to reach this milestone and want to thank all of our team members and customers past and present for their part in our success and longevity.’, Nick Bate, VMC MD said. ‘The vending industry is where our journey began and we’re proud to still be here supporting the vending community with new ideas and innovations.
‘Today, we design, build, install and support reliable payment system technology for everyday use, whether it is a simple system upgrade or a bespoke new installation, everything is developed and crafted in our UK manufacturing and engineering facilities’ Nick added. ‘Our solutions are fully scalable, offering exactly the same benefits to small and large environments, and our systems support all major payment types – cashless, smartcard, contactless, bank card, chip & pin and mobile payments, providing customers and consumers with a system that is both flexible and future-proof.’
