News just in from sunny Marbella where the FIVE boys have been taking some time out to play some serious, or not so serious, golf.
True to form, details are not really forthcoming and we doubt if we’ll ever get more than headlines. After all, what goes on tour stays on tour, right?
The week kicked off though at La Quinta on Tuesday and it is true to say that there were mixed fortunes on the first day. Jet lag was blamed…
On Wednesday the guys moved on the Marbella Club with a more gentle starting time of 11.20 – a few grateful heads we think.
Last day, Thursday was at the wonderful Los Naranjos with an even later first tee time of 12.03… think there is a pattern emerging here.
At last, we get some detail as the prizes are awarded.
Overall winner of the FIVE golf challenge was the often imitated, never bettered Vendman MD Rob Little.
Second: Upton’s Ross Macdonald and third, was Captain Tom Ormerod.
Congratulations to all who survived – one day we’ll prise the secrets of the tour!
Meantime, if you’d like to join FIVE (Friends In Vending Europe) and take on the best golf courses in the UK and Europe, get in touch with winner Rob Little.
