Vendex North: How Was It For You?

Vendex North

Afternoon all!

We’re back at the office after an exhausting, exciting and enjoyable Vendex North.

Next week, we’re planning our ‘Vendex Review’. So, how was it for you? If you were an exhibitor, please send your thoughts and observations on your Elland Road experience. How did your new product go down? Did the customers you’d hoped to see turn up on your stand? Did you meet some important new contacts?

Vendex North
There was a real buzz about the place…

There was a real buzz about Vendex North, so share your success stories with us and in turn, we’ll share them with the world. Or maybe I should say, ‘the planet’.

Better still, you don’t have to put your hand in your pocket: There’ll be no charge for this opportunity.  We plan to compile all the incomings from your good selves into a single review article. If you have photos you’d like to share, send them. If you’d like your reference linked to a particular page on your web site, we’ll link to it.

If you were a visitor to Vendex North, you’re not excluded. What were your highlights? What was it that captured your imagination? Did you come across a potential supplier that was new to you? Taste a new product that really rocked your boat?

Send us an e-mail if you like, to editor@planet-vending.com – or of you prefer, engage with us through our Facebook page or maybe via LinkedIn.

So whilst there’s not a lot to read in this week’s mailer, next week we’ll be bringing you a bumper issue.

To close on a personal note, Vendex North was my first visit to a vending event for a long time. It’s been too long, to be honest; but it was great to say ‘hello’ and chew the fat with so many familiar faces and long-standing vending buddies.

Hasta la próxima!

Ian

The Editor

Planet Vending’s Editor is Ian Reynolds-Young and it’s Ian’s unique writing talent that has made PV what it is today – the best read (red) vending blog in the world, and vending’s best read (reed). Ian ‘tripped and fell into vending’, in the capacity of PR executive, before launching a specialist agency, ‘reynoldscopy’, dedicated to the UK Vending business. The company continues to represent the interests of many of the sector’s leading brands.

‘It’s all about telling stories’, he says. ‘We want to make every visit to PV a rewarding experience. By celebrating the achievements of the UK’s operating companies, we’re on a mission to debunk the idea that vending is retailing’s poor relation.’
