A new buying group was unveiled at AVEX today.
The UK Vending Guild will be Chaired by Terry Knight, of Knightsbridge Vending in Manchester and the inaugural membership is as follows:
Abbey Vending Services, AJS Vending, BB Vending Services; Cafépoint, Knightsbridge Vending, Nexus Drinks, Premier Vend; S&J Vending, Thameside Vending, Tastebuds Vending and Vending Services.
Tastebuds, S&J and Knightsbridge are all former members of Refresh You.
‘We guarantee that all rebates we earn as a group from suppliers will be returned to the members, not to the buying group’, Terry told us at AVEX 2015. ‘We’ve had a lot of interest. We’ve been secretive until now because vending is an incestuous business. We’ve kept it low key, but today we feel the time is right to announce the arrival on the scene of The UK Vending Guild.’
Terry said that the group expects to grown to 20 members within the next 12 months.
