The Sun Shines On NIVO In Scotland

PICTURED: NIVO, racing away

A networking opportunity at The Bothwell Bridge Hotel, a series of presentations from leading industry players a Q&A; lunch, an afternoon at Hamilton Park for the horse racing, and finally a curry, ‘sponsored’ by Vendman.

And as if all that weren’t enough, it was the most beautiful summer’s day.

PV was delighted to have been invited to the event and we’ll start our coverage with a selection of photos.

We’d like to thank NIVO for inviting us to their Scottish presentation. It was our first time as NIVO’s guests and the quality of the event, and the organisation of it, reflected exceptionally well on one of vending’s most important organisations.

However, it wasn’t just networking and workshopping. In fact, there were excellent new products from Walkers and Seabrooks, which we describe here, and an innovative opportunity for vending companies to create their own coffee blends, here.

The Editor

Planet Vending’s Editor is Ian Reynolds-Young and it’s Ian’s unique writing talent that has made PV what it is today – the best read (red) vending blog in the world, and vending’s best read (reed). Ian ‘tripped and fell into vending’, in the capacity of PR executive, before launching a specialist agency, ‘reynoldscopy’, dedicated to the UK Vending business. The company continues to represent the interests of many of the sector’s leading brands.

‘It’s all about telling stories’, he says. ‘We want to make every visit to PV a rewarding experience. By celebrating the achievements of the UK’s operating companies, we’re on a mission to debunk the idea that vending is retailing’s poor relation.’
