Hat’s off to WaterCare for recognising that it was high time to change things for the better. The Harlow head-quartered company, which has branches in Ireland, Denmark; Greece South Africa and Holland, has developed the new iX Water filter range, to tackle the pollution problem head-on.

WaterCare is acutely aware that waste plastic has an enormous and negative impact on the environment. A practical feature of the iX Water range is a newly designed head that makes maintenance so much simpler. It has quick shut off, a flush valve and an optional digital flow meter. ‘The head also has a variable bypass to allow some untreated water to be dialled back into the water supply, which is essential for improved coffee extraction, which means better tasting drinks’, Roger told us.
