Televend, the real-time management system for vending and coffee, comes to Vendex North

Televend, the European connectivity giant, makes its UK debut at Vendex North having wowed the crowds at Host Milan with its real-time management system for vending and coffee.

Televend is a full-service solution, supporting the entire business from product preparation in the warehouse to marketing campaigns for end consumers. Real-time Sales Data, Route Optimization, Staff App and Pick and Pack are just some of the modules Televend offers, backed by a brand-new Technical and Call Center and the completely new BI module, which is focused on smart decision making and business intelligence.

It’s a substantial organisation, comprised of more than 150 vending enthusiasts, that ‘carry traditional vending business into the future of connected smart machines.’ With 275,000 connected machines in its park and a prodigious quantity of advance orders in its pocket, no wonder Televend claims to be ‘the best European solution for those interested in smart machines, in response to the digital transformation of the vending industry’.

It’s the Televend solution that was chosen by Selecta, the EU’s biggest supplier of vending services with over 500 000 machines; not to mention Coca-Cola Hellenic and an array of other big-hitting brands.

Dubravko Hendija

‘Our mission is to provide innovative technology so that businesses in the unattended retail sector can scale up, by making the adoption of digital technology as seamless – and as painless! – as possible’, said Dubravko Hendija, VP, Sales and Marketing, Televend.

Dubravko proposes route optimisation as Televend’s key strength: ‘Customers have seen service visits to machines reduced by over 30%, leaving even the biggest skeptics speechless’, he says.

‘Televend is designed to integrate with popular ERP solutions, such as SAP and Microsoft Dynamic. It’s an excellent solution for larger companies looking to digitally transform their operations. Televend ticks all the boxes, as visitors to our Stand 114 at Vendex North will see’, he said. ‘If only there was a Nobel Prize for vending technology!’

As a parting note, Dubravko asks us: ‘Our distributor tells us there’s a shortage of qualified workers in the UK just now, so maybe you can find a way to tell delegates that Televend will always turn up for work!’

The Editor

Planet Vending’s Editor is Ian Reynolds-Young and it’s Ian’s unique writing talent that has made PV what it is today – the best read (red) vending blog in the world, and vending’s best read (reed). Ian ‘tripped and fell into vending’, in the capacity of PR executive, before launching a specialist agency, ‘reynoldscopy’, dedicated to the UK Vending business. The company continues to represent the interests of many of the sector’s leading brands.

‘It’s all about telling stories’, he says. ‘We want to make every visit to PV a rewarding experience. By celebrating the achievements of the UK’s operating companies, we’re on a mission to debunk the idea that vending is retailing’s poor relation.’
