Televend has won the coveted EVA Innovation Award at the prestigious EVEX and Le Forum event in Cannes. The award rewards companies that are conspicuous in helping the vending industry to advance – and this year’s winner is Televend’s innovative Masterpiece concept.
Masterpiece is a powerful new addition to Televend’s portfolio, offering both hardware and software that enables vending operators and vending machine manufacturers to improve user experience by creating more interactive vending machines.

So, what is Masterpiece, all about? Masterpiece makes it possible to transform any type of classic or already active vending machine into a Smart Vending Machine, integrating a single and common hardware and software environment. With this solution, management operators have the ability to build their own environment around their brand. This new platform integrates and takes control of the machine’s VMC, the touch screen, telemetry and cash, cashless and banking payment solutions and therefore concentrates the management of machines and data under a single environment.

Masterpiece is an all-in-one box that communicates bi-directionally with Televend Cloud services, allowing it to be easily integrated into existing business processes. Thanks to the Televend Cloud API platform, it can be connected to existing vending systems, (VMS/ERP or similar) or machine manufacturers (machine performance analysis or similar).
Masterpiece can also be used to create vending machines, smart vending machines, smart refrigerators or micro markets – any connected automated retail point of sale.
In vending, operators can, by connecting the box, take complete control of the machine because it replaces the VMC of the DA; incorporates native bi-directional telemetry and remains compatible with payment solutions such as bank readers, existing cashless systems and other loyalty solutions while being compatible with coin changers or bill readers in EXE or MDB mode.
The use of the Masterpiece hardware solution therefore allows operators to unify all the DAs in its fleet from the new machine to the machine already in operation. A logic that greatly simplifies supervision on the one hand whilst delivering a low maintenance cost over time.
But Masterpiece goes further than this, because it’s also a tool that allows you to manage screens and touch interfaces, to build them, organise them and customise them. It is in fact a good way to create interactive interfaces that are completely personalised, allowing operators to strengthen their brand image and identity as a vending provider.
This connectivity logic also unifies the machine with all Televend cloud services and allows operators to have a back-office logic (tour management, planograms, etc.), so they can rationalise their activities and refine operating costs.
