The Automatic Vending Association (AVA) is excited to announce the names of three more fantastic speakers to its enhanced Speakers’ Programme for AVEX 2017.
Fiona Speakman, Client Director of the Food Team at CGA Strategy.
Andy Jones from the Hospital Caterers Association
Tim Nunnerley from Vimto
This year’s exhibition has seen the implementation of an enhanced Speakers’ Programme where carefully selected speakers will deliver talks based on the most pressing issues affecting vending and the food and drink industry today. Fiona Speakman from CGA Strategy will focus on the ‘Out of Home’ market, what this means for the food and drink industry and how Brexit is likely to impact it. Hospital Caterers Association Immediate Past Chair, Andy Jones’s talk is aptly titled ‘Water, the key to life and more’ which will look at drink as an essential component to physical and mental well-being, particularly amongst your workforce. Tim Nunnerley, Wholesale Controller of Vimto, is touching on one of the industry’s most topical subjects – the sugar tax levy – and how this poses new challenges for the vending industry.
Jonathan Hart, Chief Executive of the AVA, is delighted with this year’s enhanced Speakers’ Programme: “When we began discussions for the planning of AVEX 2017, it was imperative for the team that we developed an engaging list of speakers to attract quality visitors and provide added value to the exhibition. We really believe that we have achieved this with our 2017 Speakers’ Programme and I am delighted to be announcing the addition of Fiona, Andy and Tim to the list. The topics being discussed tackle some of the biggest issues facing vending and its related industries today, ensuring that AVEX will be the must-attend vending event of the year.”
