The people at Nebrak once thought of themselves as ‘always the bridesmaid and never the bride’…
Numerous trade shows and exhibitions make an award in respect of the ‘best stand’. The Royal College of Opthalmologists Annual Congress 2013, held recently in Liverpool, is a case in point.
And the winner was? A company named Litechnica. It was Nebrak that designed, built, installed and animated the stand, but – as usual – the accolade of best in show went to the client, not to Nebrak.
‘They sent us a congratulatory e-mail, though’, said Nebrak MD Paul Howard: ‘Just wanted to say thank you for all your efforts involved with the RCO meeting in Liverpool, and to share with you that we won the best stand award at the exhibition!’
Now, though, the Devon based provider of coffee towers, exhibition stands and assorted theatrical props has won a gong of its own; namely the Vending Industry Award for ‘Best Ancillary Services to the Industry.’
‘I was honestly amazed that we’d won it’, Paul said, ‘Personally I couldn’t see beyond (fellow nominee) Siemans Financial Services, and Douwe Egberts was another nominee. We’re all really pleased to have won the award, it’s very gratifying for all of us at Nebrak.’
