Douwe Egberts was presented with the supplier innovation award at this year’s annual AVS conference, held on 23rd and 24th September in Belfast.
This award is recognition of an exciting year in the UK for Douwe Egberts, with the company continuing to innovate through its vending ingredients and also through joint innovation into new vending machinery.
Run by the Associated Vending Services, the AVS Conference looks to recognise the 28 independently owned professional vending businesses that trade from 45 locations across the United Kingdom and Ireland under the AVS national services umbrella.
Founded in 1980 with the aim of improving the vending market and ensuring premium customer service, AVS companies serve 3,550,000 hot drinks to 1,000,000 consumers everyday with a turnover of £108 million per year.
