Cover Group’s BRITA Future

BRITA Professional has won a contract to supply over 6,000 of its Purity C filters annually to The Cover Group.

The three year contract, which started in January 2016, will see BRITA Professional provide its Purity C150, C300 and C500 filters. The filters will be installed on hot beverage vending machines across the UK.

‘As a group we embrace the latest technologies and innovations to ensure we work as efficiently as possible and deliver outstanding value for money to our customers’, said Chris Skipper, Technical & Operations Director of NVCS, on behalf of The Cover Group. ‘We chose to work with BRITA because the Purity C range is the best on the market with a strong, recognisable brand. BRITA also offers a complete commercial solution with a proven sustainability record that complements our work.’

The bypass on the BRITA filter is set to match the composition of local water, which varies depending on where you are in the UK. It creates the optimum balance of minerals and level of carbonate hardness in the filtered water, to protect machines and enhance taste.  Once in place, the BRITA standard filter head means it only takes seconds to replace the filter cartridge – which is 100% recyclable – during routine maintenance.

BRITA logo-jpegIt’s no wonder Miles Dawson, Sales Director at BRITA Professional, (Pictured above) is pleased: ‘Our Purity C filters have been designed for high-frequency hot beverage drinking, so they’re perfect for vending machines’, he said. ‘It’s great that our product innovations, backed by a comprehensive service team, have been recognised with this contract and we’re looking forward to working closely with The Cover Group. It’s vital to ensure that vending machines have proper filtration, because untreated water makes them susceptible to scale. Water also impacts on the flavour, taste and aroma of a hot drink. Using the PURITY C filter will enable the Cover Group to serve consistent hot and cold drinks across its estate and protect equipment from breakdowns.’
