On Saturday the 26th January 2013 all roads led to the Imperial Suite at the National Motorcycle Museum, Bickenhill, Birmingham where Coinadrink Ltd held a Party Night for its staff, suppliers and colleagues to celebrate its fiftieth anniversary.
The enormous generosity of the guests and sponsors from across the vending industry helped the party to be of the highest quality and memorable for everyone who was there. This all culminated in around £5,000 being raised on the night, which was donated to Macmillan Cancer support.

The evening commenced with a champagne reception, followed by a brief welcome speech from Roger Williams, MD and founder of Coinadrink. Everyone then sat down to a top class 5-course dinner, accompanied by Brahms and Liszt, who kept the guests entertained with a unique combination of great music and audience participation. The party bags were soon put to good use with balloons and confetti flying around the room.
Tickets for the prize draw were in great demand and some excellent prizes had been donated with an iPad Mini, Bose music system and HD TV up for grabs.
After dinner Todd Miller took to the stage with the Joe Loss Orchestra and Singers. They soon had the dance floor full and played some great music from the past 50 years. It was a real trip down memory lane for the nostalgia lovers.
While the band took a break Brian Tustain presided over the prize draw and auction. The guests bid for lunch by Gordon Ramsey on the Chef’s Table at the legendary Savoy Hotel, London. Such was the demand that instead of auctioning just one table it finished up with some six being bought.
The evening continued with more dancing until Cinderella time arrived at midnight. Many had sore feet and some had sung along so much that they had lost their voices, but everybody who was there declared that the evening had been a great success and raised a significant sum for Macmillan Cancer Support.
