The brand-new Button Barista App, developed for iPhone and Android mobile phones by Coffetek, is designed to put consumers in control – they can be their own barista! Beverages can be fully customised thanks to hundreds of possible combinations.
The app is easy to use – it connects to the machine and the list of available beverages displays on the consumers’ phone, with a single touch the machine receives the order.
The visible recipes can be customised so the user can create the coffee they love and afterwards, the custom beverages can be saved as ‘favourites’.
Personalised user profile, infographic statistics, drink history and custom drinks are the key elements that the company hopes will deliver user engagement and encourage repeat purchases.
The Button Barista App is downloadable from the App Store or Google Play.
It is compatible with Coffetek’s Zen, Vitro and Neo models. The machines must be updated with the Button Barista App Interface Kit to allow the app to work. This Kit includes a next-generation Bluetooth card that is compatible with iPhone 4s and later versions, and all Android devices with Honeycomb 3.0 or later firmware and Bluetooth enabled.
