Now It’s Official – Best Vendex Yet!

We reported on the day that the latest Vendex exhibition, held at Old Trafford, the home of Manchester united, was a Smash Hit and now the organisers have confirmed it was the best yet.

Vendex North 2014 achieved ‘a personal best’. The UK’s favourite one-day vending show is well known for its ability to pull in the crowds, but this year it surpassed itself, smashing its own good records with an official visitor figure of 753.

Organiser, Phil Reynolds said, “I knew we were having a good day – at one point visitors were queuing down the escalators to register or collect their badges. But even I wasn’t prepared for the final tally.”

Pre-registrations for the event were up by 50 per cent on previous years and this was reflected in the dramatic increase in visitor numbers. Not surprisingly, the exhibition hall was extremely busy throughout the day and the atmosphere was buzzing. On display was the latest technology, equipment, products and services for vending, including coffee towers, micro-markets, bean-to-cup machines, flavouring syrups, touch screen technology, traditional and non-traditional snacks, confectionery and drinks.

The next Vendex event will be held at the National Motorcycle Museum on April 14, 2015. “The first Vendex Midlands to be held at this superb venue earlier this year was a great success,” said Phil. “The 2015 event will build on this with some improvements and changes to the layout of the exhibition halls and we are looking forward to another great day for the vending industry.”

Vendex North will return to Manchester United on Tuesday, November 17, 2015
