Border Vending NW, based just outside Warrington, has become the latest company to joied Cover Group. Headed by Harry Drysdale who is aided and abetted by Richard Callwood and Amanda Drysdale, the Border management team collectively has over 100 years experience in vending.
Amanda, the Border Vending Sales Director explained the move: ‘We’ve enjoyed quite a lot of success in attracting national accounts into our client portfolio and because if that we’ve forged strong relationships with many Cover members. Joining the group cements that relationship and at the same time, it gives Border increased purchasing power”.
Duncan Balmforth, Cover’s Chair spoke of how pleased he was to have Border Vending on board. ‘The company met all our membership criteria and they filled what had been a geographical gap for us, namely the North West Coast and North Wales. Border Vending was a great fit for us, it takes us up to 18 members nationally and we’ve now got every part of the country ‘Covered’.
The announcement was made as Border Vending confirmed the acquisition, for the second time, of the contract for AXA UK & PPP Healthcare. ‘To retain such an important client is a testament to the excellent service Border Vending has delivered during the inaugural contract period’, Amanda said. ‘This contract is national and will run alongside the many other national contracts that Cover members already operate.’
Formed over 30 years ago Cover Group says it has ‘the right experience and a superb track record in office coffee and vending solutions. We all work to the same strict quality standards and are regularly audited on and off site’, Duncan said. ‘By applying our experience and knowledge over the years, we’ve been able to raise industry standards and ensure best practice. Border Vending joining our organisation will help us to continue in the same vein and to deliver customers and even better service.’
