Bilston Bake-Off Benefits MacMillan

The chaps at N&W decided it’d be a nice idea to support this year’s (23rd Annual) MacMillan Coffee Morning by inviting a group of old boys and girls back to Bilston for a bake-off.

N&W provided the venue (and the coffee, from a Karisma, we hear), whilst the guests themselves baked the cakes; which were subject to a Mary Berry / Paul Hollywood style inspection before they were ‘devoured’.

We understand that, although it was an emotional occasion, nobody was disqualified for having a soggy bottom…

N&W’s Louise Wardle enjoyed the do:’It was great to see some familiar  faces again, both former workers and colleagues’ family members’, she said. ‘We raised a total of £154.25 for MacMillan which is great, but we’ll be aiming to do better next year!’
