AVEX is the UK’s largest trade show dedicated to the vending and water industries and is THE place to see the latest innovations in the sector. This year AVEX will play host to 150 exhibitors with a wide range of exciting exhibits including chilled water dispensers, disposable cups, cashless payment systems, vending machines, machine surrounds, ingredients, food and much more. Here is a round-up of just some of the brand new products that visitors to the show will see.
VENDING & COFFEE MACHINES
For those looking for a machine offering the ultimate coffee shop experience, Coffeetek’s new Neo B2C+Tea will be available to order from their stand, no 240 throughout the show. This machine features Easybrew technology providing fresh bean to cup coffee or loose leaf tea. Neo can also dispense a variety of cup sizes, including 12oz take away style paper cups and supports various payment systems, making it ultra user-friendly.
N & W, stand 350, will be unveiling a number of new vending machines. For coffee, there is the Karisma, a stylish, super automatic fresh milk coffee machine equipped with a frother for that perfect cappuccino, as well as the Krea and Koro Max. A selection of new, free-standing vending machines dedicated to new operators on the market will also be on view, including the Opera and Melodia. In addition, their new food machine, Festival designed in the same style as the Canto and Samba, will also be making its debut together with Sinfonia, their latest large capacity, glass fronted can/bottle vendor.
Regency Design will also be launching a new coffee vending machine at the exhibition on their stand, 330. The ‘UK Coffee POD’ is a unique concept in counter top coffee vending. Its user friendly technology and easy maintenance offers the end user the ultimate experience in self-serve beverages, and operators a convenient, low maintenance system for a huge variety of locations at a competitive price.
Bravilor, stand 220, will be launching the Esprecious, their new compact bean to cup coffee machine. Each cup of coffee is freshly brewed and has great in cup quality thanks to its innovative in-house developed horizontal brewing system. Using powdered milk, the Esprecious offers a delicious range of bean to cup coffees at the touch of a button, effortlessly and without the associated maintenance of fresh milk machines.
FOOD AND DRINK
Mars Chocolate will be at stand 260 where they will be showcasing the latest product from their Maltesers range – The Maltesers “Teasers”. This new chocolate bar is a huge new launch from Mars and features crunchy little Maltesers pieces floating in creamy milk chocolate – a great new addition to the confectionary vending market.
Barr Soft Drinks will be launching two new flavours to its popular range of Rockstar energy drinks on stand 426. The two ‘tongue-tingling’ variants, BubbleBurst and Green Apple, will tap into a growing consumer trend for sour flavours. According to Adrian Troy, Head of Marketing for AG Barr, Rockstar SuperSours has performed exceptionally in consumer taste tests.
Bistro Express will be launching an exciting new concept in complete ready meal vending with a 24/7 one-stop food service at stand 530. This new “East meets West” range of 12 ambient ready meals has a shelf life of 9 months and each meal comes with a side of pitta or naan chips and utensils.
WATER
Water filtration experts, Aqua Cure will be at stand 480 with some examples of their product range, including the new Hydro+ Eco range. Its reusable housing is designed to save operators money on replacement filters and help lower their carbon footprint. This new product offers big savings, easy installation and high quality filtration.
The eco-friendly water cooler company, Blupura, will be exhibiting its innovative BCC Vision cooler. This exciting water-cooler has built in video and audio facilities for promotional activity and can be seen at stand no 726.
Pentair, on stand 424, will be launching its new Everpure Claris ULTRA 170. This is the latest addition to the first water filter cartridge system to effectively combine mineral reduction and equipment corrosion protection within one compact unit. The new compact ULTRA 170 cartridge is ideal for use in areas where space is of a premium.
PAYMENT SYSTEMS
The future of vending payment will be a big focus this year. For visitors looking to improve their electronic payment systems, Coges will be showcasing its latest cashless vending payment system – The Coges Engine at stand 432.
MEI, which will be at stand 336, will be launching its European version of the CashFlow 4 in 1 eCash terminal: a fully EMV and PCIDSS certified cashless terminal. The CashFlow 4 in 1 accepts all consumer cards whether they are magnetic stripe, chip or contactless based. It is also future proof and ready to accept mobile (NFC) payment.
