Wanted For Ukraine : We are all shocked and appalled at what is going on in Ukraine. I decided on Tuesday evening to see if I could do something to help, (writes Phil Reynolds).
I have a contact in Poland who is in the vending industry. I got in touch with him to see if he could help. He has arranged for a lorry to travel to the UK to collect supplies and he’s also been in touch with the local authorities in the area, to arrange for distribution of the cargo to those Ukrainian refugees who have made it across the border into Poland.
Wanted For Ukraine : I was at the NIVO meeting on Wednesday (2 March) and appealed to the attendees for product. This was met with a great response from John Crichton at Automatic Retailing. He has offered the services of ARN to co-ordinate the stock and house it at their warehouse prior to shipping out. John’s also approaching the brands ARN work with, to see what they can do to help
.
Here’s what’s Wanted For Ukraine: protein bars, chocolate, snacks and water are priorities. But we’ll gratefully accept anything else that could be used to help.
