Faced with October in autumnal GB, most of us wouldn’t need much persuasion to pack a bag and head off to Madrid. However, with VendIbérica establishing itself as one of Europe’s fastest growing shows, and with gales blowing and days shortening, it was a no-brainer for Vendman to say ‘Ola’ to España!
Madrid’s a fabulous city and for three days – 18, 19 and 20 October – VendIbérica was the catalyst for an influx of more than 9,000 visitors from 45 countries.
A total of 150 companies from seven countries – Germany, France, Italy; The Netherlands, Portugal and the United Kingdom – exhibited, giving the show a truly international flavour. VendIbérica is an event that’s on the up-and-up. Attendances were up 54% on 2015 show and 5,500 m2 of exhibition space was occupied, an increase of 50.28% on last time out.

All of which adds up to the fact that this show’s now even bigger than AVEX.
‘VendIbérica was a really useful event for us’, said Ian Forde, Vendman’s European Director. ‘The show was really well attended and we came away with almost sixty new business enquiries, principally from Spain and Portugal, as a result of which we’ve already made four presentations, with a further four scheduled before Christmas.’
If the numbers maintain that kind of upwards trajectory, you can be sure that the biennial beano in magnificent Madrid will become a regular rendezvous for Vendman.

VendIbérica: A Bluffer’s Guide
The synergies resulting from holding the event to coincide with FRUIT ATTRACTION and EAT2GO enabled the organisers to attract record numbers of operators from the vending, public vending and horeca channel.
The vending sector’s leading event took place on 18, 19 and 20 October, achieving enormous success among trade professionals. VENDIBÉRICA was scheduled to coincide with EAT2GO, the first monographic event for the Food Delivery and Takeaway industries. A total of 150 companies from seven countries – Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal and the United Kingdom – took part, giving the show an international flavour. There was an overall improvement in participation figures, which were up 54% since the last edition of VENDIBÉRICA in 2015. Occupation was up by 50.28%, with 5,500 m2 of exhibition space.
