The new T1

The new T1 from Borg & Overström is ‘the perfect combination of innovation and efficiency.’

The new T1 integrated tap system from Borg & Overström has been announced. It is the official upgrade for the U1.

The new T1 is the company’s specially designed solution for the office that requires premium dispensing with limited space or a high footfall and retains all the features of its predecessor – with several key advancements.

So, what’s new with the T1? The first thing you’ll notice about the new T1 is its improved horsepower, which belies its size. This is made possible by ProCore™ – Borg & Overström’s next generation water processing system. In addition to being energy-efficient, the ProCore™ is fitted with new eco R290 refrigerant gas.

The new T1 is capacious and offers fast-flowing dispensing. Its sustainability-friendly features mean an economical setup that doesn’t sacrifice performance. The T1 boasts impressively high-capacity dispensing with no excess space required, eliminating the need for plastic bottles. It delivers 50 litres per hour of water, more than twice the U1’s rate. This pure water comes to you chilled, ambient or sparkling, allowing for the effortless filling of reusable vessels. The full combined options are Chilled & Ambient, Chilled & Sparkling and Chilled, Sparkling & Ambient. Remember, all sparkling options come with our elite (and unique) Deep Sparkle®.

The new T1

This tap system’s discreet size and minimalistic design provides the pinnacle of countertop convenience. It can be positioned over a sink or combined with a drip tray. The drip tray’s circular shape complements the aesthetic of the modern workplace. It can be fitted with a standard size hole saw drill bit, making it easy for installers. Users can choose to plumb their tray into mains waste or use it with the Borg & Overström alarmed waste kit.

The new T1 combines minimalism with durability. The tap is PVD coated for a sleek resilient finish, while the undercounter cabinet is colour-coated GreenCoat® steel. PVD coating is an advanced method of metalworking which leaves surfaces beautifully decorative, prevents finger marks, protects against scratches and makes cleaning almost effortless.

The new T1And with such longevity comes customer care. Like the T2, the T1 comes with an ergonomic touch panel designed for ease of use and infused with an elite-quality antimicrobial coating for the most hygienic experience. This is a vast improvement over the U1’s membrane.

The new T1 is easy of install and easy to use. There are no wires to connect and that means no awkward untangling, unsightly intrusions or convoluted setup. Its plug and play USB 3 connector makes it super easy to install, unlike the old U1, and most existing tap system competitors.

There’s also a rich variety of optional features. Users can choose to have their T1 pre-fitted with Viovandt™, which is a mercury-free, chemical-free and energy-efficient LED-UV water purification system. Hygiene adherence is here to stay, and Viovandt™ grants users complete peace of mind, it also includes additional hygiene features via Borg & Overström’s Totality® methodology.

The T1 is available in Black and Steel finishes – but please note that the PVD coating is only available on the Black finish.
