Selecta Group Acquires Express Vending

European vending group Selecta Group has acquired UK-based vending solution supplier Express Vending Limited for an undisclosed sum.

Express Vending supplies an extensive range of vending solutions to clients in the UK, such as vending machines, coffee machines, water dispensers as well as the Express HUB, a ‘micro market’ tailored to fit into the headquarters of businesses.

The company registered sales of £39 million in the full year to July 2018, and Selecta says that the addition of Express’ extensive product portfolio and expertise in the field will help it consolidate its position as one of the leading vending groups in the UK.

“Our intention for Express Vending is to let it operate as a stand-alone organization focusing on London and to allow the team to continue on its well-proven growth trajectory.”

Brian Donne, founder of Express Vending added: “This transaction is an exciting next step for Express Vending.

“Selecta is well-placed to comprehensively support the continued rapid growth for the business under the leadership of Paul Hearne, executive director of Express Vending, and his management team.
