The ‘One Touch’ fills the gap between manual microwaves, which are not always precise enough, and touch control microwaves, which can offer more features and complexity than is sometimes needed. Just put the food in, press the button once for 30 seconds and the microwave starts, showing the time countdown on its digital display. The single button also doubles as a start button if the microwave door is opened and closed during the heating process. This will avoid the oven restarting automatically when the door is closed with no food inside, which can cause damage to the microwave.
The ease of use makes the ‘One Touch’ ideal for vending or self-service points as well as retail and low volume areas of commercial kitchens. With a competitive list price of £299 + VAT, Regale will be selling the microwave through catering and vending suppliers. It has a class-leading 29 litre (1.02 cu ft) stainless steel cavity coupled with a static ceramic base, the cabinet is also of stainless steel construction and is supplied complete with a full three year manufacturer’s warranty.
