Postponed: ‘Vendex Midlands has been postponed due to restrictions designed to stifle the COVID-19 pandemic. Organiser Phil Reynolds has issued the following statement:
‘It is with deep regret and a heavy heart we have to inform you that Vendex Midlands will no longer take place On April 21st as planned. We have had lengthy discussions with the venue to find alternative dates and am pleased to announce the new date of Tuesday October 6th.
‘This is due to the outbreak of COVID-19 and the Governments advice against mass gatherings. We understand this is a disappointment, however the health and safety of our exhibitors, visitors and staff is the priority here.
‘We hope you can appreciate the difficulty of our position and that the change in dates will be welcomed by all.
‘Thank you for your support and understanding, and above all, stay safe, fit and healthy and we look forward to seeing you at Milton Keynes Stadium in October.’
Y0u have to wonder if the situation will have improved in time for The Vendies; right now, the outlook is bleak.
