Numbers are growing for Virtual Vendex – April

Phil Reynolds is still buzzing with the enthusiasm of the vending industry over Virtual Vendex, April 20th – 22nd.

Our own research has shown that there is a need for us to talk to each other again, to sell, to network, and to just say hi to our friends across the industry. We’ve been holding on for a year for the day to come when we can meet face to face. Sadly that won’t be happening for a while but there is hope at least that the light at the end of the tunnel is shining brighter at last.

The following exhibitors are the latest to sign up but wouldn’t it be great if everyone who was booked on the ‘live’ Vendex supported this event? It’s not a lot of money, and a lot less than a couple of nights accommodation, transport costs and other exhibition costs of the real thing… so why not give it a go? PV will be at Virtual Vendex.

How could ARN not be at Virtual Vendex? It was a no-brainer and we’re looking forward to catching up with our friends, colleagues and clients.

‘H2O Direct are delighted to be exhibiting at the Vendex Virtual event next month. As long term Vendex exhibitors they were delighted to be offered an opportunity to connect with potential customers as well as present new products and services in the virtual world. As there are no ‘live’ exhibitions forecasted due to Covid restrictions, it is important to have continuity and connections with customers and other exhibitors.’

Rheavendors UK

‘Virtual Vendex is a great opportunity for our industry to show our customers that we are still there for them. I really welcome the event to speak with New and Existing customers, Rhea will be showcasing a number of new products including our New Induction Milk Fridge. Would absolutely prefer to have a live show but this works for current circumstances.’

Walkers Snacks

‘We’re really looking forward to showcasing at Virtual Vendex this year.  We’ve got some great Walkers, Snacks and Quaker NPD plans this year and really want to shout about how we can support Vending when sites continue to re-open.  We’ve got great bespoke incentives for all the industry to help re-invigorate the category, this is customised to each Buying Group and we’ve now showcasing a new NIVO deal.  Come meet us on our stand to chat through how we can grow Vending and Unattended Retailing bigger than before.’

Radnor Hills

‘At Radnor we are really excited to attend the first Virtual Vendex. We haven’t done many virtual shows yet but we are really keen not to miss out on any opportunities to get in front of our customers to reassure them we are still here and cant wait to do business with them again.’ Chris Sanders, Sales Director

‘we didn’t hesitate to sign up to the Virtual Vendex to reinvigorate our new business pipeline and support the industry networking which has been sadly missed in 2020.’

‘Rustlers are looking forward to attending Virtual Vendex as we see it as a vital platform to communicate and get back together with operators following a tough 12 months. We are very excited to be sharing our plans and supporting everyone in the post Covid world and guiding people through the opportunity of ‘Food’ within Vending and Out of Home Solutions.’

‘Burts Snacks is looking forward to exhibiting at Virtual Vendex and showcase its new product line for  Vending Operators across the UK and Europe. We also look forward to chatting to our loyal customer base and engaging with potential new operators about our range for Vending.’

‘Exhibiting this year felt more important than ever, not just to reconnect with our contacts in the vending industry but also to show that we are here to support them with new solutions that can give their sales a boost and help them adapt to the changing post-pandemic business needs. Also, the fact it’s a virtual event makes it possible for even more delegates to attend, so we’re hoping this will increase overall visitor numbers.’

3 Square Market

‘We are exhibiting at Virtual Vendex because as the UK’s premier micro market supplier we have new products that we want to display to current and prospective partners.  Although being in-person would bring the most value to these products, the next best thing is to present them to the UK Vending/Catering market through Virtual Vendex.  We couldn’t be more excited to get some face to face time with vending companies’

We’re so glad Vendex has offered an online platform to network and showcase our vending interiors and services.  Despite the current pandemic, a lot has happened within the sector in the last 12 months. Having the chance to touch base and come together collectively is more valuable than ever. I’m looking forward to talking about the future of vending, how we’re looking to facilitate new technologies and collaborations alongside the opportunities that lay ahead for operators.’ Paul Howard, Managing Director, Nebrak Ltd

As Phil says, ‘This is so encouraging that the vending industry is embracing this digital initiative as an interim measure to help boost business during these testing times.’
