New Tech From Coffetek Means Vending’s Going Contactless

New Tech from Coffetek allows users to make their selections from a distance of 2cm, eliminating the necessity to  touch the vending machine. This innovative health and safety measure can be added to Coffetek machines – indeed all machines manufactured by the Azkoyen Group – as as a means of preventing and reducing the risk of transmission of bacteria and viruses such as Covid-19

The New Tech from Coffetek is called Distance Selection Technology and it allows user to obtain the products without having any contact with the surface of the machine, adding safety and hygiene to the purchasing process.

The mechanical push-button or touch-screen panels on vending machines, which are often a focal point for the spread of bacteria and viruses, are now being replaced by the New Tech from Coffetek that work remotely. Thanks to this, the user can select the product they want from a distance of up to 2cm from the surface of the selection panel.

In addition to contactless payments and other related payment systems, the Azkoyen Group also has the Pay4vend electronic payment technology, which enables remote payment using mobile devices and the Joyco APP, which allows distance selection and contactless payment.

‘The health and safety measures enabled by Distance Selection Technology, Pay4Vend and Joyco technologies will improve consumer confidence in the use of vending machines, ideal for workplaces and hospitality’, Coffetek Sales Director Ian Johnston told Planet Vending. ‘This New Tech from Coffetek will change the way customers interact with our vending machines. Hopefully, this will be seen as a crucial breakthrough in the fight to reduce the risk of spreading Covid-19 and indeed all other bacteria that can exist on a surface.’
