Nayax UK has strengthened its team with the appointment of John Forde to the new role of Head of Vending, completing a re-structure of its operations following the untimely death of C-zi Patel, just 4 months ago, as Planet Vending reported.
‘We were lucky to find John,’ said Lewis Zimbler, Operations Director & Country Manager. ‘He brings with him considerable experience and knowledge of cashless payments and the vending industry. John’s values mirror those of Nayax, and we are confident that he will provide our clients the support they need to enable Nayax to continue to be the market leader in this space.’
Sales Director Paul Morgan agreed: ‘The depth and reach of John’s background makes him a natural fit for Nayax’, he told PV.‘Our vending customers are a significant aspect of our business and John’s experience will prove to be beneficial at each important stage in the relationship. We’re excited to have him join our team and we’re looking forward to additional growth.’
John Forde, who started his new job on 1st February, was an employee of Vendman prior to the company’s take over by Vianet. He is relishing the challenge of joining the global market leader. ‘I’m happy to have joined Nayax and I already feel ‘at home’ with the culture of the company and excited by the potential for growth here in the UK’, he said. ‘I’m very much looking forward to getting back out in the marketplace to get re-acquainted with the customers and to build on the relationships I’ve established with both individuals and companies over the years. Nayax has the solutions to enable vending operators to increase sales and reduce operational costs whilst taking advantage of consumers’ increasing preference for cashless payments. It’s a compelling offer to take to the marketplace.’
