Kellogg’s : Steven Wilcock has been appointed to manage Kellogg’s interests in the vending channel -and he is determined to make a success of the role.
Prior to joining Kellogg’s, Steven was already an experienced professional in the field of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods. His CV includes successful stints at Perfetti Van Melle, (the owners of the iconic Chuppa-Chup brand), alongside brewer Heineken.
He was excited at the prospect of joining Kellogg’s: the company has a reputation for being a top-quality employer with a policy of ‘growing its own’ senior managers and that, in particular, appealed to his sense of ambition. His first rung on the ladder was as a Field Sales Executive, a role in which he was responsible for the company’s business with Tesco, Morrison’s, Asda and Sainsbury’s, in the important area around Kellogg’s’ Greater Manchester Head Office.
Now promoted to National Account Executive and focussed exclusively on vending, Steven is well aware of the increasing demand for healthy, on-the-go snacks and he is ‘excited’ to bring Kellogg’s Snack Bars back into the nation’s spirals.
‘Consumer preferences these days have created the need for convenient, nutritious options to be available in vending machines’, Steven said. ‘I’d like to collaborate with vending operators to bring in Kellogg’s Cereal Bars to address opportunities in key, fast-moving environments such as airports, hotels, gyms and transport hubs; workplaces and more.’
With over a century of experience in the food industry, Kellogg’s has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality products. ‘Our cereal bars are crafted with the same dedication to quality and taste that customers have come to expect from our brand’, Steven said, ‘and our partnership with vending operators will bring with it various benefits, such as competitive pricing, flexible sales arrangements, and of course the dedicated support of our sales team. We are committed to building long-term relationships that drive mutual success and customer satisfaction.
‘I’m eager to discuss the potential benefits’, Steven said, ‘and explore how Kellogg’s can work together to with operators to meet the growing demand for healthy snacks and permissible treats in vending locations. I’m also keen to collaborate with operators in the growing Micro Market arena. Our iconic Pringles 40g can is still one of our top performing snack SKUs and our breakfast proposition, in the Portion Pack individual format, is custom-made for the automated retail environment.’
