As we start a New Year, we’d like to take this opportunity to send a huge ‘thank-you’ to everyone at the AVA and throughout the Vending industry, for the very kind and generous support that has been demonstrated in respect of our daughter`s fundraising effort, Cymorth I Cerys, (Supporting Cerys).

We have received unbelievable backing from friends, family, colleagues at RPC and the local community, but we are thrilled and overwhelmed by the interest in Cymorth I Cerys that’s been forthcoming from organizations outside of our small town in South Wales.
We’ve been humbled by the sheer volume of people that have taken Cerys to their hearts. She is a very lucky little lady. It’s thanks to this support that we have managed to raise a massive £51,286 to date.
We must say a very special Thank-You to Tony Smith and Phil Reynolds for bringing Cerys` situation to the attention of the vending industry and for their continued and unwavering support. Similarly, we’d like to thank Jonathan Hilder, together with Niki, Siobhan and the rest of the AVA team for working so hard to raise Cerys`s profile within the Industry.
Personally, it was great honour to be invited to the AVA Christmas luncheon and I’d like to thank everyone I met that day for the very warm welcome I received. I’m still unable to fully express my appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to Parvez Kayani. He made an unbelievably generous donation and it was an absolute pleasure for me to meet such a genuinely kind man. Thank-You Parvez.
Thanks to the generosity of everybody at the Christmas lunch, we’ve raised enough money to allow Cerys to have the SDR operation next July. Now, the focus has changed and we’re raising money for her post operation physiotherapy and rehabilitation. This will be an integral part of Cerys’ life for the next 5 to 10 years.
We had originally hoped to be near to £30,000 by Christmas but the appeal has succeeded beyond our wildest dreams and has given us renewed hope that we can fulfill Cerys`s dream: to become more independent and to be able to learn to skip!
So, in conclusion, we wish you all a very Happy New Year. 2015 holds more promise for Cerys than we dared to dream and that’s largely thanks to you.
