Leading disposable packaging manufacturer, Huhtamaki UK, has launched the UK’s first double wall paper vending cup, working in partnership with vending experts Crane Merchandising and coffee connoisseurs Douwe Egberts. Huhtamaki UK is delighted to have helped develop the ultimate gourmet coffee vending experience.
The new double wall cups from Huhtamaki UK have been designed especially to be used in conjunction with Douwe Egberts latest Espresso Bar coffee vending concept, which was officially unveiled at AVEX13. To mark the marriage of Crane’s technical expertise and Huhtamaki UK’s cup innovation, there was a champagne and “wedding” cake reception to celebrate!
PV received a press release regarding the cup and high-tailed it into the hall to visit their stand… only to be told that the company didn’t have one. Oops. However…

This new development sets a benchmark for the future of coffee vending and signifies the commitment that the industry is taking towards providing a full gourmet coffee shop experience for consumers, away from the high street. The double wall cup is instantly recognisable to the user as a premium product and reflects the quality of the bean to cup coffee within. The cups feature Huhtamaki UK’s signature wave emboss and are available in black or white with the Douwe Egberts logo.
