Harry Brompton’s Iced Teas Review: By Ian Maguire, Planet Vending’s Roving Reporter (and Technical Director)
There’s something about a good iced tea that feels like a proper reset – light, crisp, and not trying too hard. So when I got the chance to try Harry Brompton’s Iced Teas for the first time at Vendex, I was curious. I’ve had my fair share of iced teas over the years, and quite a few end up being more sugar than substance. But Harry Brompton’s? These were in a different class.
I tried a few of the flavours on offer – Summer Berries, Peach, and Lemon & Lime – and each one was refreshing, clean, and nicely balanced. The tea itself is made with Kenyan black tea, and you can really taste the difference – there’s a depth and smoothness, and the fruity flavours complement rather than overpower. Best of all, there’s none of that syrupy sweetness you sometimes get with iced teas – just real, brewed refreshment in every sip.
Iced Tea, But Done Properly
Harry Brompton’s have clearly taken the time to get this right. The drinks are low in calories, gluten-free, and vegan-friendly, which gives them great appeal across a wide customer base. But even if you ignore all of that and focus on taste, they hold their own. The Peach flavour is soft and mellow, the Lemon & Lime is bright with a zesty edge, and the Summer Berries hits a lovely fruity note without being too sweet.
It’s the kind of drink you’d happily pick up from a vending machine on a warm afternoon – or to accompany your meal deal without feeling weighed down.
Why They Belong in Your Vending Machine
From a vending perspective, Harry Brompton’s Iced Teas make a lot of sense:
- Premium branding and sleek bottles that look great in the chiller
- Lower sugar than many traditional soft drinks
- Genuinely refreshing – not too sweet, not too bland
- Perfect for health-conscious customers looking for something a bit different
- Good all-year-round appeal – not just a summer seller
With more people leaning away from sugary fizzy drinks, iced tea is growing in popularity – and Harry Brompton’s is a great example of how to do it right.
Final Thoughts
Harry Brompton’s Iced Teas were a pleasant surprise – fresh, well-balanced and seriously drinkable. They feel more like grown-up refreshments than grab-and-glug soft drinks, making them ideal for vending machines in offices, gyms, universities, and hospitality settings.
Spiral Verdict: Real tea, real flavour, and real refreshment. A great alternative to sugary soft drinks – and a brilliant addition to any chilled range.
