Christmas comes to the Vending Industry

Less than a week to go and Vending has been getting into the Christmas spirit. Here is a small selection of what’s going on, but spot the bah humbug moment!

Lindt Bear and Haribo Bear

First up, Sing a Carol for a Coke. JMW Stockholm turned their Coke machine into a Karaoke machine with the request to ‘Sing for me’ and be rewarded with a bottle of coke! We just love the creativity behind Coca Cola’s marketing…

Next, has everyone gone mad? Sweet giant Haribo has successfully managed to ban Chocolatier Lindt from making and distributing it’s Gold Bears as they are too much like their famous Gummy Bears.  Here in PV towers we have half a dozen of these gorgeous little chocolates, so we are planning to lock them into the safe and keep them till they become a collectors item. Merry Christmas Haribo! (Thanks to the Guardian for the story)

Rob Little – MD Vendman

Finally the members and guests of the AVA at this month’s Christmas lunch were treated to some typical Vendman humour. Vendman was one of the main sponsors of the event here was their message, written into the event programme. (pictured Rob Little MD Vendman)
