Carabao adds Raspberry to its Isotonic Sport Drink Line-Up

Carabao has added a new signing to its winning team of lower sugar, lower calorie isotonic sport drinks. Raspberry is about to make its debut in the highly competitive vending division and the big-hitting front runner is tipped to make a major contribution in taking the brand up the table as the soft drinks season kicks off.

Carabao’s fans will love the new flavour and Manager Ash Ellis reckons Raspberry will not only be a crowd pleaser, but also a crowd booster: ‘The vending soft drinks game is constantly evolving, influenced by shifting consumer preferences and health trends’ he told PV. ‘Given that vending machines are often located in high-traffic, health-focused spaces like gyms, hospitals and education, we are as you’d expect, aligning our CQUIN compliant line-up with consumers’ fitness and health objectives. What’s more, our consumer analysis indicates that raspberry is the most popular flavour amongst our 18 to 44 year-old target demographic. So, at the same time as appealing to existing sport drink fans it has the capability of motivating lapsed sport drink consumers to re-engage with the category.’

Ash has a point: today’s consumers are looking for beverages that don’t just satisfy their thirst, they want more – such as the added benefits of electrolytes and vitamins.

‘The Carabao SPORT range is all about enhancing hydration during prolonged exercise’, Ash says. ‘It has a unique formula, consisting of carbohydrates and electrolytes enriched with B vitamins, and natural colours and flavours. Better yet, it’s free of aspartame. It comes in thirst-quenching 500ml bottles with a sports cap, making it the perfect hydration for life on the go.’

In common with the rest of the Carabao SPORT team, Raspberry SPORT has been awarded Informed-Sport certification, the global gold standard in sports nutrition quality control. ‘All Carabao’s isotonic drinks boast this certification’, Ash says, ‘which complements our 10-year sponsorship of the EFL’s Carabao Cup and has helped us to win ‘Official Sport Drink’ status with thirty professional football clubs.

The pundits are agreed: Raspberry SPORT is a great addition to the squad, offering the perfect blend of hydration and taste – ideal for those with active lifestyles. It’s perfectly positioned to cater to the rising demand for health-conscious products in vending machines, ensuring that consumers have access to both refreshment and performance-enhancing benefits, when they need them most.

Carabao‘We’ve had some big wins to date with Carabao SPORT, in terms of customer listings and consumer feedback’ Ash says, ‘and we’re expecting Raspberry SPORT to help us move even higher up the league. We’ll be hitting more goals than ever thanks to this fantastic new signing.’
