Britvic Announce Joint Bundle Deal Promotion with Walkers

Britvic have today announced a joint bundle deal promotion, that will see them collaborate with Walkers to offer Automatic Retailing Northern customers £5 off their bill. Britvic hopes the promotion will restore Tango Orange’s leading position within the channel, having experienced disruption to the supply chain.

Britvic’s James Cripps doesn’t try to dress it up: ‘The trade knows that Tango Orange struggled for some time with supply issues’, he says. ‘We’ve invested heavily in our supply chain and today, we’re in a much better place. But we have lost ground in the vending marketplace and this promotion intends to put Tango Orange back where the public wants it and back where it deserves to be – in the nation’s vending machines.’

With that aim in mind, Britvic is now running its first ever bundle deal promotion with Walkers – and the up-shot sounds like ‘a complete no brainer’ for many of the UK’s vending operators… ‘It’s a very simple deal’, James says. ‘If an ARN customer buys a case of Pepsi Max, a case of Tango Orange; and a case each of Doritos and Walker’s Max, they’ll get a fiver off the bill.

‘You see this kind of deal used to promote new products, to get people to try something for the first time. But in this promotion, all the products are proven winners that most operators are likely to be stocking.’

‘We’re really excited to activate this ‘Power of One’  activity with our Britvic Partners ahead of the UEFA Women’s Euros’, Mark Whitaker, Vending Channel Controller at PepsiCo, told PV. ‘This promotion supports ARN customers’ ability to enhance their product range and maximise their profit, with our combination of crisps and carbonated soft drinks.

To take advantage, ARN customers simply have to buy one case of each product from the bundle deal to receive a £5 discount from stock purchased via Automatic Retailing Northern.”

The bundle deal is available exclusively from Automatic Retailing Northern, until the end of this month, (30 June 2022).
