WPS

WPS Director Richard Allen Hails Lyons And Wittenborg Vendex Combination.

The people at What Price Solutions, WPS, are issuing a challenge to delegates attending Vendex North’s Elland Road debut.

‘We’ll be offering instant coffee on our stand’, WPS boss Richard Allen says, ‘but not just any old instant coffee. We think that Lyons Instant Coffee, prepared and dispensed by an Evoca Group Wittenborg 9100, tastes superb.

‘There’s a great fuss these days about bean-to-cup coffee machines and coffee made with fresh milk and whilst these undoubtedly make great drinks, there are plenty of workplaces out there for which they’re just not suitable.

A B2C Example of the iconic Wittenborg 9100

‘For example, what about locations where coffee is available free of charge? At WPS, we think, ‘why go to the trouble of trying to emulate the high street when you’re giving drinks away, particularly when you can offer a great tasting coffee instantly at a fraction of the cost?

‘Likewise, a level of expertise and commitment is required to get the best out of those B2C and fresh milk machines and many operators know to their cost that they’re often called out to solve problems that would never have occurred with an instant coffee offer.

‘WPS is delighted to work with Lyons. It’s is a great tasting instant coffee and the Wittenborg 9100 might have been designed specifically to maximise its potential in the workplace. The 9100 has a lot in common with those expensive ‘barista style’ machines, in that the delivery process can be customised to extract the maximum flavour from the coffee. The 9100’s powerful software allows for the dosing speed, water flow to the mixing bowls and the mixing speed to be customised.

‘Let’s face it: despite the massive growth in coffee shops in the UK, there are still a huge amount of people who enjoy instant coffee at home and it’s those people at whom our Wittenborg / Lyons offer is aimed. The average workplace break time is not an opportunity to linger over the subtleties of an artisan coffee, it’s a refueling stop – and when that’s the case, the coffee we’re offering on the WPS stand is an excellent instant solution.’
